It’s coming up to the glorious time of year: whale watching season. The Whitsundays was named by the Australian Geographic as one of the top 10 whale watching spots in the country.
Every year, humpback whales migrate north and use the Whitsundays as their nursery for their newborn whales. Between May and September is the best time to spot these beautiful creatures as you’re sightseeing in the waters around the islands.
Our guests have been known to spot a whale or two from their balcony at WAHI.
