1. Marina Village Celebrations
Join the island’s biggest outdoor party of the year by heading on down to the Marina Village. Only a 15-minute walk from WAHI, the Marina Village is set to host pop-up bars, live entertainment and fireworks to mark the changing of the year. The best part is that everyone is invited! You can take the kids, take the parents or take your friends, and be with everyone that matters when the clock strikes midnight! It’s such a great way to kick-start the year with all your loved ones.
2. Watch the fireworks
Celebrate the New Year with your family by watching the spectacular firework display from the Beach Pavillion. The family-friendly firework show starts at 8:30 PM, which means you can bring along the little ones and let them get in on the fun too. After the early-session of fireworks, you can kick-on by treating yourself to some delicious food and tasty refreshments. With live music going until late, you’ll have no problem staying up until midnight!
3. Grab dinner at Romanos
If you’re looking for an intimate dinner to celebrate the end of 2021 and the start of 2022, there’s no place like Romano’s. With doors opening at 5:30 for New Year’s dining, visitors are invited to enjoy mouth-watering dishes from the specially curated festive menu. Take your pick from the range of locally-sourced and seriously-tasty meals and enjoy the fireworks display. It doesn’t get much better than that!
4. Enjoy a night in
Did you know that WAHI balconies overlook the magnificent Catseye Beach? For anyone looking for a quieter New Year’s celebration, this is the perfect place to ring in 2022.
