Hideaway Bay: True to its name, this hidden gem is a short stroll from the Scenic Trail. Unwind in the tranquil waters and enjoy views towards Whitsunday Island. (Grade 3, Moderate)
Saddle Junction: A key crossroads on the Scenic Trail, leading to various exciting hikes like Passage Peak, South East Head, and Escape Beach. (Grade 3, Moderate)
Flat Top Hill Lookout: Take the Resort Trail to this scenic vantage point. Enjoy magical views north and south as you soak up the tranquil atmosphere. (Grade 3, Moderate)
Coral Cove: Follow the Scenic Trail to this secluded paradise. Coral Cove is a peaceful haven with views of Lindeman Island, and yes, you'll find that Instagram-famous giant swing! (Grade 3, Moderate)
Escape Beach: Continue along the Scenic Trail to this charming retreat. Clear waters, a sandy beach, and dramatic rocky outcrops await. Feeling adventurous? Extend your hike to include South East Head and Passage Peak. (Grade 3, Moderate)
Middle Head Trail: Starting at Turkey Nest Junction, this trail showcases native flora and culminates in hilltop views of the Whitsundays. (Grade 3, Moderate)
South East Head Trail: This walk takes you through dense bushland to dramatic cliffs and rocky outcrops. Be rewarded with views of the Lindeman Islands and snap a pic on the iconic giant chair. For an extra challenge, include Passage Peak or Escape Beach in your route. (Grade 3, Moderate)
Passage Peak: For those seeking a challenge and the ultimate reward, Passage Peak awaits. This spectacular hike, though demanding with its steep sections and numerous steps, promises breathtaking 360-degree views from the highest point on Hamilton Island. Resort Lookout: This is the perfect introduction to island walks, offering stunning panoramas of the resort, marina, airport, and surrounding islands. Access it from the eastern end of the Conference Centre. (Grade 3, Moderate)
