Christmas is coming and here at WAHI we couldn’t be more excited.
Not only is the weather beautiful at Christmas time, there is a great atmosphere of summer relaxation and festive celebration.
An island Christmas
You may be away from home but keep with Christmas tradition with Carols by Candlelight on Christmas Eve. The event will be held on the lawns in front of WAHI and there will be a sausage sizzle and refreshments available.
Many restaurants are now taking bookings for Christmas lunch or alternatively, take advantage of the apartments’ fully equipped kitchens to make your own Christmas lunch and celebrate from your apartment balcony. For a seafood feast, order a platter from FISHI. They deliver fresh seafood platters to the apartments daily.
Ringing in the New Year
New Year’s Eve is always a big event, with fireworks kicking off the celebrations at Catseye Beach.
After 9pm Front Street transforms into an outdoor, adults only party. Enjoy the live music in front of the Marina Tavern, ring in the new year at one of the restaurants or from the balcony at Garden Bar, custom designed Gin cocktail in hand.
