Time certainly flies when you are having fun. Another year of doing what we love is almost coming to a close and there’s definitely lots to celebrate.
Of course, this also means it’s time to set your plans for New Year’s. So, where’s the best place to ring in the new year?

New Year’s is one of our favourite times of the festive season. No stress and lots of celebration… what’s not to love?! Why not take your New Year’s up a notch by spending it on beautiful Hamilton Island with us? Plus, there’s nothing that sets the tone for a great 2020 than waking up on New Year’s Day in paradise.
Here’s what’s on for New Year’s on the island.
New Years Eve
Having a family holiday? At 5:30 on the Outrigger Lawns, there will be live entertainment and a kids fun zone. Then at 8:30 pm, there will be family-friendly fireworks over the beach.
For the adults, the New Year’s Eve party will kick-off from 9 pm. The Marina Village will stage an outdoor party with bar stalls, fireworks and entertainment. With everything from classic hits to modern pop, Front Street will be bustling with music and dancing.
Head over to the Marina Tavern and you will find the perfect spot to boogie the night away with an open-air entertainment area and live music. At 10 pm a guest band “The Cast” will take the stage. Finally, start off the New Year with a bang and enjoy the island’s midnight fireworks show.
If the thought of all this dancing is making you hungry, there is no need to worry. Bommie restaurant, Manta Ray, coca chu, Pool Terrace, Mariners and Romanos will all be offering new years eve dining. We do recommend booking ahead to avoid missing out.
