While the water activities get most of the attention at Hamilton Island, there’s plenty of fun to be had on land.
A highlight for the young and young at heart is Go-Kart Racing at Palm Valley.
The Go-Karts are a highlight of many guests, with Michael Clarke, Usain Bolt and the Stefanovic brothers amongst the visitors who have tested their skills behind the wheel.
The track begins with a long straight stretch before winding up a small hill and back down again.
With many twists and turns it’s sure to test your skills.
Single and DuoKarts are available, with kids aged 4 or above permitted in the duo karts (with an adult) and drivers 145cm or above for the single karts.
