A new year brings new, exciting holidays to look forward to.

With a range of events and tropical warm climate, whatever time you plan your WAHI visit you are sure to have a memorable trip.

We’ve put together some of the highlights of each of the seasons to help you start planning.

Summer

With an average maximum temperature of 30 degrees in the Summer season, the whole family will enjoy water sports, snorkelling and time spent in WAHI’s lagoon pool.

Autumn

In April the Endurance Series kicks off with the Stamford Financial Hilly Marathon. In 2017 a challenging Marathon distance will be added to the event.

The Easter long weekend offers a great opportunity for a mid-autumn family break. With average temperatures of around 28 degrees, soak up some sunshine and recharge for the rest of the year ahead.

Winter

Escape the chill of the Southern states and book your WAHI holiday for Winter.

With an average temperature of 23 degrees and the lowest rainfall of the year, it’s warm enough to enjoy the water and defrost before heading back home.

The Great Whitehaven Beach Run is held in June every year with a range of distances on offer for runners of all ages.

At the end of Winter is Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. Whether you’re a sailing fan or not, there are plenty of activities on and off the water to enjoy.

Spring

In Spring the temperatures begin to rise to an average of approximately 28 degrees and with rainfall still relatively low, it’s a beautiful time of year on the island.

In November the Endurance series comes to a close with the Fujifilm Hamilton Island Triathlon and the Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim.
