While Hamilton Island is the largest inhabited island in the Whitsundays, it is still a relatively small island at only 5 square kilometres.

Its size means it’s an easy island to get around, made even easier by the range of transport options that allow you to explore at your own pace.

The apartments are located within walking distance of all on-land activities on the island. Catseye Beach is directly in front of WAHI, and Main Street is only a short walk away.

There’s also a free shuttle bus service, which can pick you up and drop you off at various locations around the island. There’s a stop located just outside reception, and the three shuttle routes go everywhere you need on the island. The shuttle service is available from 7am to 11pm every day.

Hamilton Island is renowned for its golf buggies, the main form of transportation on the island. If you wish, you can hire a four or two seater golf buggy when you arrive. Enquire at reception for more information.
