Between the bushwalking trails and the ocean, you’re likely to encounter a huge range of wildlife on Hamilton Island. From whales to turtles to frogs, the island is incredibly diverse, creating the ideal setting for a wildlife park.

Wild Life Hamilton Island is located a short stroll from WAHI. One ticket gives you unlimited entry for the duration of your stay on the island.

Start the day at the park with breakfast with the koalas. Select from a buffet of hot and cold breakfast as koalas snooze and munch on eucalyptus leaves beside you.

After breakfast and perhaps even a cuddle with a koala, stroll through the park at your own pace.

From the cuddly wombat to the big crocodile and Freddy the chatty cockatoo, each animal has a distinct personality and the park offers a true showcase of native Australian wildlife.

Daily tours are also offered free with general admission. Join the marsupial and macropod keeper tour or tag along on the reptiles and bird keeper tour.

Wild Life Hamilton Island is open from 8:30am to 5pm daily.
